I’m sure most of you have seen these already, but I wanted to share anyway, so just bear with me. 
Anna and Ben had a blast trick or treating on Saturday. It was all Anna was talking about all week, and she was just beyond herself when it was actually time to go. We had a great time with some friends parading around a few neighborhoods.
Ben was loving on the suckers, so much so that he had to have two at a time!

I’ve been kinda MIA with blogging. Had a crazy week once the kids were home on Tuesday.

Walking! Already?? July 2, 2009
Ben loves to walk, but hasn’t really been too sure of himself to do it on his own. Any time he would be set down, he would put his feet down so he’d be standing and reach back for my (or Justin’s or whomever) hands. It was cute because he’d turn around, grab my hands, look up and have a huge grin on his face.
Well, yesterday, he decided he’d try it out on his own! We were outside playing out on our porch, and he just stood up after sliding down the slide. And stood there…so I coaxed him a little. He took one step! He was ecstatic as he figured out what he was doing, and took another step! He added one more and fell into my lap. What a big boy! We tried again and he walked even more. He must have had enough by the third round because be ended up doing a face plant. Poor little guy.
I can’t believe that he’s walking. It’s so bittersweet for me because as thrilled as I am that he’s growing and developing new skills, it makes my heart sad that he is moving past the little tiny baby phase.

My oh my how I’ve missed my personal blog! We’ve been down since March and it seems like an eternity! It feels like a lifetime ago, and I can’t wait to get started again.
So much has happened since then. We went to Florida on vacation, Elevate launched (and I mean really launched), Ben turned 1 year old….
