Welcome to the family of the Ruess’. I am Erica. I think I have acquired the one of hardest last names to pronounce. When we moved to Monroe two years ago, Justin and I seriously talked about telling everyone it’s pronounced Jones, the ‘R’ is silent. But, I couldn’t do it with a straight face. So, that idea was scrapped.
It actually sounds just like Reese….as in Reese’s peanut butter cups. Yep, I want candy every time I explain that to some one.
Our family was created in June of ’05 and we soon (and I am not exaggerating when I say soon) added Anna and Ben to the mix. I love our little family. Anna looks just like me but has her own little personality. She is very passionate, yet very sensitive. Ben looks just like Justin and is the sweetest little guy you’ll ever meet. He freely gives hugs and kisses, and most of the time you don’t even have to ask. Justin and I are so much alike, it’s crazy, yet we’re different enough to be able to get along with one another very well.
On top of being parents, Justin is a web designer and I am on my way to becoming a photographer. We are also part of Elevate Church, which we are very proud to say that we were one of the original three families that started the whole ordeal. Let me tell you, that has been one awesome ride.
In all of this, we are just trying to remember that life is not about ourselves, but about giving ourselves away.
It has been awhile since I have seen you at Elevate and do hope all is well. I was looking at your beautiful photography and am amazed by your talent. I love taking pictures myself and love to see a new perspective through anothers lens. Good luck to you and your business!!!!
